This product in particular is used in very small quantities. Just one or two drops on a moist face is all that is necessary for lasting moisturizing. Brahmi enhances circulation and stimulates more rapid skin repair. Turmeric is a moisturizing antimicrobial and antioxidant, and Amalaki is loaded with high absorbing vitamin C. Ashwaganda is used as a skin rejuvenative and healing agent. Its adaptogenic properties help to calm the nervous system through the active nerve endings on the skin. Shatavari is a healing demulcent that softens the skin. It is rich in phytosterol precursors that both heal and protect the skin. Shatavari has shown anticancer activity in epidermal cancers making it a wonderful facial protection from the sun and environmental pollutants. Holy Basil is also used in this formula. It is a well known antifungal for the skin, but it, along with Ashwaganda and Shatavari, is rich in what Ayurveda calls skin radiance properties. They are high in Ojas which is the most refined substance the body manufactures. It is found in mother’s milk, sperm and ova and is healing, rejuvenating and immune building. It provides the glow, shine and texture to the skin much like what you see in the face of an infant. These herbs are all soaked and extracted in an olive squaline extract which closely resembles the moisture factors made naturally by the skin. It is also rich in naturally occurring vitamins A, D and E all of which are essential skin moisturizers. It is fragranced with the pure essential oil of Melissa.
